{"id":10448,"date":"2022-02-10T12:54:26","date_gmt":"2022-02-10T11:54:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eurotransis.com\/elevators-and-vertical-conveyors-in-automated-warehouses\/"},"modified":"2024-03-25T13:51:36","modified_gmt":"2024-03-25T12:51:36","slug":"elevators-and-vertical-conveyors-in-automated-warehouses","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eurotransis.com\/en\/elevators-and-vertical-conveyors-in-automated-warehouses\/","title":{"rendered":"Elevators and vertical conveyors in automated warehouses."},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Vertical lift systems<\/strong> allow for <strong>high density storage<\/strong>.\u00a0It is applied in a wide number of industrial sectors, both in <strong>manufacturing and distribution<\/strong>, as well as in <strong>retail and robotized commerce<\/strong> (widely used in pharmacies and parapharmacies, both for sale and in online stores).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Elevators and vertical conveyors<\/strong> are an essential part in the operation of automated warehouses.\u00a0Some of its advantages are:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>It allows <strong>quick access to goods<\/strong> and represent a <strong>very significant increase in storage space<\/strong>, being able to take advantage of vertical space and create <strong>high-density warehouses<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>It can be applied to <strong>products of different sizes and formats<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>It can be combined and allow to have dynamic shelves.\u00a0It reduces (almost completely) the use of forklifts and achieve a <strong>high work flow<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>It has <strong>security systems<\/strong> both in the prevention of accidents with operators and from the point of view of product and goods protection.<\/li>\n<li>It facilitates the access of goods to the operators, maximizing resources and minimizing expenses.\u00a0It <strong>improves and increase the warehouse management capacity<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>automation and digitization<\/strong> of the systems allows the monitoring of all product movements.\u00a0<strong>Traceability within the warehouse<\/strong> is guaranteed, as well as <strong>stock control<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Due to the great diversity of products in which it can be applied, we have lifting systems manufactured specifically for the movement and transport of different types of products.\u00a0From <strong>automatic systems for the storage of palletized goods<\/strong> (<strong>pallet stacker cranes and pallet conveyors<\/strong>), trilateral stacker cranes, as well as <strong>lifting systems and vertical conveyors for boxes<\/strong> of various sizes coupled to <strong>automated roller conveyors and belt conveyors<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Stacker cranes<\/strong> <strong>for pallets<\/strong> allow the movement of pallets vertically and their transfer through long aisles with <strong>automated roller conveyors<\/strong> from loading and unloading areas to storage areas.\u00a0Automated warehouses with stacker cranes achieve a high storage density (up to 45m in height) and high efficiency in managing the entry and exit of palletized products.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Box<\/strong> or tray <strong>lifting conveyors<\/strong> increase warehouse capacity, security and warehouse management while reducing costs.
