Stacker cranes<\/strong> are systems capable of moving loads vertically and horizontally in pallet storage areas and transporting them to the lower section of the warehouse. These <strong>stacker cranes<\/strong> allow for high automation. Similarly, they are used in warehouse replenishment tasks. These automated systems enable <strong>high production performance<\/strong> that would not be achievable through mechanical and human means alone.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>greatest performance<\/strong>, in addition to <strong>movement efficiency and greater load capacity<\/strong>, is also obtained thanks to the space optimization possibilities offered by <strong>mechanized and automated systems.<\/strong> Thus, <strong>stacker cranes<\/strong> significantly increase vertical <strong>storage capacity<\/strong> (over ten floors or 30 meters in height), while also reducing aisle widths for handling goods.<\/p>\n<p>However, <strong>pallet transport<\/strong> will not depend exclusively on <strong>system automation and digitalization<\/strong>. A highly automated production system requires <strong>efficient mechanical systems<\/strong> tailored to each type of movement made with the pallets, ensuring the reliability and safety of these movements. There are various options for pallet transport, including <strong>roller conveyors and chain conveyors for pallets,<\/strong> as well as other possibilities such as <strong>rotary conveyors or pallet lifts.<\/strong> Their functions include transporting and stopping the load, as well as accumulating, storing, or redirecting the pallets.
