How Eurotransis Helped During the Pandemic Year?
- Mitigating the shortage of materials for pharmaceutical logistics and food supply.
Supplying materials for pharmaceutical logistics and food.
Eurotransis quickly supported essential businesses by focusing on the logistics of each company. We can highlight two clear examples: in the healthcare sector (masks, gloves, hand sanitizers, medicines, among many others) and the food sector. The increase in these items led to a higher demand for conveyors and conveyor rollers that might require replacement. Additionally, this wasn’t just during one phase of the process. Even during the truck loading phase, our clients were able to use extendable conveyors or certain types of conveyors that made the process faster, helping to speed up the supply process. This allowed them to cut time in loading and unloading products, ensuring they reached the end customer as quickly as possible.
- Strengthening our team to serve our clients.
Training our workers. Each of our employees received extensive training on the new circumstances we were all experiencing, including measures and actions to be taken during working hours, as well as precautions to be adopted in our daily routines.
- Necessary measures for our staff and clients, along with COVID-19 response training.
With the new lockdown measures, most businesses had to close their facilities, forcing many employees to learn to work from home, performing their tasks remotely. For many, staying at home 24/7 without going out was challenging. For our employees, being able to come to our facilities allowed them to enhance their learning, engaging their minds to develop their tasks with the new safety measures in place, thus being more productive and able to meet our clients’ needs without any setbacks.
- Working with local and national products, helping small businesses.
In extreme situations, we worked side by side with small and medium-sized enterprises. It was a challenging year for everyone, but we supported each other to ensure that every business could continue its operations. How? By supplying them with everything they needed, just in time. Furthermore, as activities and measures intensified, there was no option to lose too much time. For this reason, our urgent manufacturing customer service was increased.
